Tournaments
The Black Belt Academy hosts various Tournaments throughout the year in association with the BBAA (Black Belt Academy Association) and USA Taekwondo. Students are also encouraged to seek out other Tournament happening all throughout the country and the state of Maryland.
When a Tournament nears, daily reminders will be provided to students as well as an informational packet and application form. Class time will be dedicated towards assisting students who want to participate as well as encourage those interested through training and confidence building.
Tournaments include categories for Poomsae (Form), Board Breaking, and Sparring. These are bracketed competitions where the winners of each category compete against other opponents for a chance at the Grand Championship Trophy
